WORLDS-EXPENSIVE-COCKTAILS-THE-WINSTON-FROM-CLUB-23-AUSTRALIA

With Summer Cocktails being the flavor of the season ( along with Beer, of course ), in the quest for exploring the finest and the richest in cocktail heaven, we came across these absolute treasures that we just felt had to be shared. Though traditionally cocktails were a mixture of spirits, sugar, water, and bitters, the term has since been used to refer to any generic alcoholic mixed drink / beverage that contains three or more ingredients in which atleast one of those ingredients is alcohol.

If you got $12,500 to spend, you might like indulging in a Winston, made exclusively at Melbourne Crown Casino’s Club 23, and officially listed by Guinness as the world’s most expensive cocktail.

It has been named after Winston Churchill, and the basis is a bottle of Croizet cognac dating back to 1858, a specially prepared garnish of chocolate and nutmeg soil. The cognac that the Winston uses is one of the most highly prized in the world – a mere $ 151,000.

It takes 2 days to make it, so you would need to plan your cocktail soiree at Club 23 for Winston, if it is a part of your plan.
